The aim of this study is to discuss and promote good fortune and success in the Austrian hotel industry and to substantiate it with facts.
The study “Das Ende der Branchenflucht” (“The end of escaping from the tourism branch”) deals with the happiness and satisfaction of employees in Austrian tourism. A number of indicators have been explored which, according to international research, are crucial to a given team’s personal sense of happiness. These include the social fabric in the workplace, the opportunity to develop professionally and personally, the security of being valued, or doing something meaningful, and much more. Central trends and the most interesting correlations are detailed in the study.
